Mike the Music Man

Uncle Mike contributed greatly to our rock n' roll education when he visited our Glencoe home in the mid-seventies. Two "new" albums he introduced us to were Bob Dylan's "Blood on the Tracks" and Neil Young's "Tonight's the Night". He even sang a couple of the songs for us after a dinner. We became fans immediately (Mark may chime in here, he's the biggest Neil Young fan). There is some symmetry to this. Mark and I and others saw Neil in mid-October, still jammin'. His encore song: Tonight's the Night. On my last phone call with him and Mark, in early December, we mentioned this to him and he seemed proud to have been a part of our musical upbringing. May he rest peacefully. Steve
