Mike "Miguel" Rouse - My Bud. We grew up about 80 miles apart. I was in Erie, Pa and Mike was in Fredonia NY. Mike was 8 years my elder. Miguel headed out west in 1968. I came to Reno Christmas 1974. Thru a mutual friend I met Jim Pawluk who was a good friend of Miguel. I met him a few times in the 80's + 90's and heard many of the stories of his (Mike's) escapades. It wasn't until Jim built a new house above Carson City in 2000. We (Jim and I)came up with the idea of a men's club in the lower level of his 3 story house. We called it the "LAYLOW LOUNGE". The three of us came together as the main members. Mike and I became fast friends as we met almost every Saturday to play billiards, drink a little beer and listen to the Blues. I created the artwork/logos for the Lounge and had the hoodies and t-shirts printed. For a good 10-12 years we were the best of friends - miss ya, "Fredonia Flash".
